Day 56 of 365 Days of Giving Papercrafts
So, it was 9:30 this evening, my daughter's Princess Tiana (Disney's Princess & the Frog) birthday party is tomorrow at 1:00 PM. And despite my "resolution" to not procrastinate, I have no card made. I googled pics of Tiana and was just going to color print one onto cardstock and call it good. But then I sat there staring at the pic while drinking my rum & coke (it was that kind of night) and decided my princess deserved my best. Well, this is my best at recreating Tiana's lilypad dress. With no pre-planned supplies, I had to go with what was on hand...Below are details of the bodice and skirt and the pic I was originally going to use, but just ended up being my inspiration.

Day 41 of 365 Days of Giving Papercrafts
Ok...I am super excited about today's papercraft: Lily pad invitations for my daughter's Princess and the Frog birthday party! I used a combination of the Cricut die-cut machine and it's coordinating design accessory, the Gypsy, to cut a card friendly size and shape of the lily pad from the Create A Critter cartridge. Then I created a word processing doc the appropriate size. After printing the doc, I traced the lily pad on top of it to cut out the matching shape. I scored the doc and glued the scored section to the lily pad so it became a card.

Day 39 of 365 Days of Giving Papercrafts
The Valentines are rolling off the presses! This one was made using my Cricut die-cut machine's Indie Art cartridge's heart, black diamond Stickles, k*i memories sticker and printed paper. The heart was cut at roughly 4.5" and the overall card is 5.5" squared.

Day 37 of 365 Days of Giving Papercrafts
A birthday card for my mother-in-law who likes dragonflies. I used my Cricut die-cut machine's Pagoda cartridge to cut the dragonfly "tag" at 5"x3.75" out of printed paper from Die Cuts With A View's Far East stack, and matted it with a turquoise piece of cardstock.
